In-home sessions provide additional comfort, privacy, and peace of mind from pandemic associated risks and stressors.

Birth

A birth doula is also referred to as a maternal support practitioner, labor companion, or birth worker. As a support person, their primary goal is to help families feel informed, safe, and comfortable while laboring.

A maternal support practitioner is roughly defined as a non-medical professional trained in childbirth who offers continuous labor support, relevant health information, education, emotional support, physical comfort, and professional referrals within one's community. Services are provided before, during, and shortly after childbirth. Attention and care are extended to the partner of the laboring person as well.

Research indicates that continuous labor support from a trusted professional improves maternal-child health outcomes.

An opportunity to promote one's health, well-being and improve the quality of their birth without associated risks is worth consideration.

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”

— Helen Keller

Postpartum

Beyond being an absolute life-saving-angel-goddess-baby-whisperer, postpartum doula’s are also referred to as maternal support practitioners. Their primary goal is to provide evidence-based education as well as nonjudgemental emotional and physical support after the birth of a newborn.

The months and years after childbirth are a transformative time meant for rest & recovery to promote family bonding and nourishment.

Looking to master and understand the post-birth needs of you, your baby and partner? Would you like guidance while learning newborn care skills, soothing techniques, the nutritional needs of an infant, and how to support mother-baby bonding?

Look no further!

A professional trained to care for the whole family may be just what you need.

Lactation

Lactation counseling is a series of appointments where a lactation specialist or certified lactation counselor trained in clinical breastfeeding management offers breast/body-feeding guidance. Ideally, lactation education is provided within the first few weeks after birth to ensure seamless success.

Sessions include education on optimal latch and feeding positions, how to manage low supply or oversupply of human milk, the importance of wet and dirty diapers, pumping and more.

If you want to understand the nutritional needs of an infant or how to breastfeed effectively or get in front of potential challenges, book Zeri Health’s certified lactation counselor for evidence-based guidance.

Natural Pain Management

A Labor massage Workshop for Couples

What your childbirth education class is missing!

Zeri Health offers a workshop on labor massage to couples & birth-workers interested in adding skills to their childbirth toolkit.

This workshop is for families and birth-workers who value non-invasive pain management techniques and comfort measures that may provide pain relief, improve the birth experience, and enhance satisfaction.

Attendees will collect knowledge meant to empower their choices, foster self-agency and autonomy by learning how to position and move one’s body whether they decide to labor with or without analgesic pain medication.

If there is a desire to build an incredible foundation as a team, come prepare for the demands of childbirth with a certified massage therapist who will teach appropriate relaxation techniques, therapeutic touch, and positions specific to labor conditions.

Ready to GROW your labor toolkit and confidence?

Sign up for an in-home labor massage workshop and build practical hands on skills. Whether you are laboring at home, a birth center, or a hospital, the comfort measures you will learn can be used in early labor & when contractions have become stronger and longer.

Best massage therapist in LA! Natalie's hands are gifted. She is professional on all levels but also makes you feel extremely comfortable. I've recently been getting prenatal massages as well and I give her so much credit for how wonderful my body feels throughout my pregnancy. Natalie is the best!!!

  • GWEN L.

Anyone looking for postpartum care after the birth of your baby, look no further! Natalie was an absolute dream to have after birth with our second baby. Having overnight support versus doing it on my own, made a world of difference in my energy levels, my ability to devote myself to my family during the daytime, and my overall happiness during that challenging yet wonderful period. Although, pumping was a trial at first, over time and with Natalie's encouragement and guidance, my supply increased and that was a tremendous relief. Natalie also provided massage therapy for my husband which he found very therapeutic. Not only is she professional and knowledgeable, but also understanding, compassionate, fun and lighthearted. I looked forward to her arrival every night (I would actually count the minutes!). I highly recommend her health services!

  • ERIN M.

As a former massage therapist, I am really picky when it comes to bodywork...and Natalie is my go to therapist! She is intuitive, professional, kind, and is super knowledgeable about the body. She creates a safe environment that allows for real healing.

I love that every experience is unique (but equally amazing!) and based on where I am on that day. Not just the same "routine" like a lot of the therapists I've experienced. I always leave the massage table feeling like a new woman. Thank you, Natalie!

  • JAY C.

We used Natalie to assist us post birth as we adjusted to life with our newborn. She not only helped our infant daughter, but made us feel more comfortable and informed. Incredibly knowledgeable and prepared for anything, Natalie supported us beyond our expectations. Her expertise made us feel at ease when our daughter was in her care and her wonderful demeanor always made it a positive environment for us and our daughter. We used her as postpartum doula and would highly recommend her!

  • ALISA K.

We're so grateful to have found Natalie. Since we began working with her a year ago, we haven't worked with another massage therapist. My husband used to be a massage therapist himself and he's very picky. According to him she is truly skilled. As far as I'm concerned it's the best massage. She very nice and always professional. If we have another baby we would definitely use her doula services.n goes here

Natalie was an absolute lifesaver for me as a new mum.

Trying to learn how to breastfeed, and make it through the night without any family nearby would be hard enough, but with my husband also out of town a lot for work, I needed help!

I interviewed many pp doulas and night nurses but it was an easy choice. Natalie strikes an awesome balance between well-researched professionalism and easy-going warmth.

Getting used to your newborn is a time when you can really benefit from an experienced guide, but it's also an incredibly intimate time. Natalie helped me so much with my baby IQ and learning to latch, but without making me feel like I was being schooled. It felt like I had a trusted friend come to stay.

I can't thank or recommend her enough!

Hiring help is daunting and expensive in LA but you can rest assured here that the investment will be well worth it. 10/10

  • JESSICA P.

Natalie helped us take care of our newborn for the first month of his life. Her experience and knowledge were invaluable to us as first-time parents. She helped us transition into the fourth trimester and we couldn't have gotten by without her.

Natalie put us at ease and our son loves her! Natalie took care of our little one mainly during the night. This meant we could get more sleep and help allow me to recover from my c-section. When our son was asleep, Natalie keep an eye on him and helped us out with other things like sterilising all the bottles, baby laundry, meal prep etc.

Towards the end of my pregnancy, I had an amazing massage with Natalie. I felt in good hands, safe and so relaxed after.

Natalie is reliable, has all sorts of useful tips and recommendations to help with baby caring and you can feel the love and passion she has for her job.
