Massage
Massage is also called soft tissue manipulation and it’s a form of bodywork and manual therapy. It’s meant to help the body improve movement, reduce physical stress, relax and heal. It is a non-invasive pain management tool that may provide relief from acute and chronic conditions.
Treatments are offered by a certified massage therapist in a NEW office location and in the comfort of one’s home where individuals can achieve deeper relaxation.
In-home sessions provide additional comfort, privacy, and peace of mind from pandemic associated risks and stressors.
Each session is individually tailored to meet client care needs. Know that your preferences will be completely understood and honored.
Tap into your bodies natural ability to heal by scheduling a restorative session with Zeri Health’s lead therapist.
Give yourself peace of mind.
Give yourself the gift of a doula.
Zeri Health practitioners are a valuable resource every step of the way
Birth
A birth doula is also referred to as a maternal support practitioner, labor companion, or birth worker. As a support person, their primary goal is to help families make empowered choices and to feel informed, safe, and comfortable while laboring.
A maternal support practitioner is roughly defined as a non-medical professional trained in childbirth who offers continuous labor support, evidence-based information, education, emotional support, physical comfort, and professional referrals within one's community. Services are provided before, during, and shortly after childbirth. Attention and care are extended to the partner of the laboring person as well.
Research indicates that continuous labor support from a trusted professional IMPROVES maternal-child health outcomes.
An opportunity to promote one's health, well-being and improve the quality of their birth without associated risks is worth consideration.

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
— Helen Keller
Postpartum
Beyond being an absolute life-saving-angel-goddess-baby-whisperer, postpartum doula’s are also referred to as maternal support practitioners. Their primary goal is to provide evidence-based education as well as nonjudgemental emotional and physical support after the birth of a newborn.
The months and years after childbirth are a transformative time meant for rest & recovery to promote family bonding and nourishment.
Looking to master and understand the post-birth needs of you, your baby and partner? Would you like guidance while learning newborn care skills, soothing techniques, the nutritional needs of an infant, and how to support mother-baby bonding?

Lactation
Lactation counseling is a series of appointments where a lactation specialist trained in clinical breastfeeding management offers breast/body-feeding guidance. Ideally, lactation education is provided within the first week after birth to ensure seamless success.
Sessions include education on optimal latch and positioning, how to manage low supply or oversupply of human milk, the importance of wet and dirty diapers, pumping and more.
If you want to understand the nutritional needs of an infant, how to breastfeed effectively, or get in front of potential challenges, book Zeri Health’s certified lactation counselor for evidence-based guidance.
Natural Pain Management
A Labor massage Workshop for Couples
Zeri Health offers a workshop on labor massage to couples & birth-workers interested in adding skills to their childbirth toolkit.
This workshop is for families and birth-workers who value non-invasive pain management techniques, comfort measures, movement and upright birthing positions that may provide pain relief, shorten the 1st and 2nd stage of labor, improve the birth experience, and enhance satisfaction.
Attendees will collect knowledge meant to empower their choices, foster self-agency and autonomy by learning how to position and move one’s body whether they decide to labor with or without analgesic pain medication.
If there is a desire to build an incredible foundation as a team, come prepare for the demands of childbirth with a certified massage therapist who will teach appropriate relaxation techniques, therapeutic touch, and birthing positions that are intended to help families cope with the demands of labor.
Ready to GROW your labor toolkit and confidence?
Sign up for an in-home labor massage workshop and build practical hands on skills. Whether you are laboring at home, a birth center, or a hospital, the comfort measures and birthing positions you will learn can be used in early labor & when contractions have become stronger and longer.
“…The traditional supine position during labor has known adverse effects such as supine hypotension and more frequent fetal heart rate decelerations. Therefore, for most women, no one position needs to be mandated or proscribed.”
- ACOG statement on the benefits of upright birthing positions and the negative effects of the lithotomy position in a hospital bed.
